Why I Support Conconully Bible Camp

Conconully Bible Camp was begun in 1924 through the leadership of the National Holiness Association. The local founding group were sincere Christian people seeing a need to have a place where people could come to be under God’s influence much like the early day tent meetings that toured the country. Over the years the Holy Spirit has drawn many to Christ through the ministry of the camp. That is why I support Conconully Bible Camp. There is something about being away from home and the routines of everyday life that allows the Holy Spirit to break through our busyness to give us time to hear the still, small voice of God. It works for all people no matter what stage of their relationship to Christ. Many initial commitments are made and many prayers of repentance and moving up to the next step of Christian growth. Conconully Bible Camp is a safe place to come and talk to the Lord and to invite friends to join you. Bring people to camp and the Holy Spirit will do his work of drawing them closer to Christ. This is why the board of directors volunteers to take care of the grounds and business of the camp and why they provide a family camp every year. God has blessed this work for over a hundred years. The Board of Directors asks for your support in prayers, work and/or donations to keep the camp able to improve and grow and continue as a special place to meet with the Lord.
